Emit Logo Redesign

For this assignment we were required to redesign a logo for a record company called Emit. This was the first time I had designed a logo and although I was happy with the end result it took a long time to reach it.

I found it really hard to create a suitable logo and although I came up with many ideas, they were all very similar and note suitable. It took me two weeks longer than the rest of the students on the course to get a suitable logo and I‘ve realised that designing logos is defiantly not one of my strengths.

302 Acid Digipak CD Design

For this assignment we were required to listen to music of an ambient genre and then design a Digipak CD package to go with how the music made us feel.

We were given a random CD from the genre and I ended up with an artist called 302 Acid. I never heard of the artist or genre of music before and I found the assignment a challenge having to design for music I'd not normally listen to.

This assignment helped me to understand I won't always be designing for something I like and it also gave me an idea of how to approach future projects that have little interest to me.
